Hi everyone!  I'm happy to have joined what seems like a great community with lots of great information.  I'm far from a professional chef but I'm always looking to get better.  I'm looking forward to learning from you all and maybe I'll be able to share a tip or two that might be helpful to you :)

Aloha Jamie, welcome to Chef Talk, so glad that you’re here. 

I was doing the same thing as you about two years ago, never dreaming that I’d learn so much from such a wonderful group of folks.

A note on the forums Jamie, the three Pro Forums are read only to folks not in the food biz, but it’s cool to peek in and see what they’re talking about.

Should you have questions in regards to the site itself, you can post them in the Feedback & Suggestion forum.

I hope to see some of your dishes in the Galleries soon!
