Hi from L.A.!

I just stumbled upon this site during a Google search and found it to be most interesting and informative.  It seems a little similar to a coffee site, of which I am a member, that is a forum for all types of coffee enthusiasts.  I'm hoping the ChefTalk site will jump start my culinary interests as they have been moribund of late.  Cheers to all . . .

Hello and welcome to Cheftalk.  Our membership is from around the globe and all levels of culinary skills, which can make for interesting discussions!


The wikis, blogs, articles, reviews abd photograhy are all well worth spending time to view and a source of inspiration, too.


there are a couple of professionals-only areas which are read-only for those of us who are not working in a culinary trade.  Feel free to join in on any thread you find interesting in the other fora, or start your own.
