I am just beginning to bake and use from scratch recipes instead of boxed cakes and such so I am here hoping to learn from others. Thanks a bunch!

Welcome, Ashnc83! I'm also an at-home cook who loves to bake as you do. I wasn't so good at it before I got a lot of support and advice from the professionals and veteran home bakers here in the Chef Talk community. The cooking articles, photo galleries and many other resources here have been greatly helpful over the years. I hope you find them to be so as well.

 

Please keep in mind the General forums are open to all Chef Talk members for reading and posting; everyone hangs out there. However, we at-home cooks must consider the Professional forums as "read-only". We're welcome to read there, but must leave the posting to the pros.

 

I hope you get as much out of your participation here as so many of us have. Please let any moderator know if you have questions about how the site works. We're glad to help.
