I mispelled my own title. Please some admin help.
Years i don't cook crêpes. So i decided to try again since we talked about that some weeks ago. No Cointreau but a cheaper liquor made with bitter oranges. And not home made dulce de leche or orange marmalade. Too lazy for that and anyway, i live in the country of dulce de leche. We must have dozens and dozens of brands. PIcks are so, so.
Once one side is done, turn it down.
Add the dulce de leche while the other side cooks, so its warms.
Crêpes done in classic triangles and plated (hate that simmetry)
Torching the caster sugar on top.
Detail of the caramel. Sorry, no picks of the flambé (difficult pick, all of them aut of focus) but you can imagine.
Conclusion: i'lll wait another 30 years to repeat this extremely sweet dessert. Not for me really. Not a sweet guy. Good bye childhood memories! And the orange marmalade is way too much, not really necessary. Anyway, there they are in case somebody wants to try.
