i have a customer that wants to order a chocolate bacon cake but he keeps telling me "next week next week" and i dont know if i should complete his order. what should i do? thank you for your responses.

Wait untill you see money before you get excited about getting an order. Think hard -- why do you think this customer is hesitent and procrastinating?
I have a lady has has a standing order for 3 dozen cinnamon rolls. Pick up is 6am by her or one of 3 people on the list. Every time the the lady picks them up she talks about upping the order to 5 dozen a day and she has been talking about it for 16 months now.
Every week when we bill her there is a spot asking if she wants to change the amount she is getting and every time it is checked no. Some times under comments she will write that she might be changing her order soon.
I'm to the point that unless place the order and confirm it than it's just someone talking.
Next time that customer walks in fill out an order form with him and get him to sign it or how ever you do it.
