Hello from a newbie

Hi everyone,


Just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and say that I'm happy to be a new member of the group!  


I am also a newcomer to the professional culinary world in a more general sense.  After 10+ years in corporate jobs, I am now working to start my own specialty food business.  I have always had a passion for cooking and am excited about the possibility of building a career in this field.  At the same time, I have SO much to learn.  


I look forward to chatting with you all and basking in your epicurean wisdom.

Welcome, davidsl2!  Cheftalk is a great place for articles, recipes and advice from those who are in your shoes.  There are numerous experienced pastry chefs and others here who can be a resource to you, along with articles and recipes others have already posted.
