Based on another thread I read here, I'm curious about community college culinary programs. They seem like a reasonably good deal instead of shelling out 30-60k for an expensive school. I know they're all very different, so how can you learn what CC programs are better than others? Is there a list somewhere of ranking of CC culinary programs? Is there a specific accreditation that means more than the others? 

 

I live in the SF Bay Area, and City College of San Francisco has a program, as does Laney in Oakland. I can't really figure out if they're worthwhile, though. I'd also be willing to relocate to attend a great CC culinayr program elsewhere, if I could just learn where the good programs are...
