Hi Zenabra.  It is great to hear you would love to be a pastry chef.  I am a graduate of Johnson and Wales and I love my school but there are great schools out there and the selection is growing everyday.  There really are a few things you need to decide before you look at schools.  What is your price range?  Private schools can be very pricey, lots of community schools have really good programs right now.  Also what do you want out of it?  Part of the reason i choose the school i did is because i was interested in getting an actual Associates degree not just a certification.  Lastly if you look and have the ability to most schools are more than happy to have you come in and look at their programs, some designate weekends to drive or fly in and you do it as a group some allow you to just make an appointment and you can walk the schools.  Good Luck
