My name is Jess I'm a 30 year old mom, mom, and culinary student. I was in the military and a military wife for 11 years so I've been a little lucky in the free travel department ;-) . I am really thankful for this community, cheers to you all.

Hi Jess,
My name is Tracye. It is nice to meet you. I just joined this wonderful community as well. I'm a mom as well; a home cook and an accountant. I'm excited about joining and looking forward to meeting other cooks and learn new recipes.

Hi Jess,
What are some quick dishes that you cook for your family. I'm always looking for a tasty dish that is quick to make after work. Thanks.

Let's see, I have a lot of young children and I'm a student so some meals are quick. I like to make a pasta dish with Italian ground sausage with fresh baby tomatoes, minced garlic, a splash of white wine and fresh basil on top afterwards.

That sounds really good. I think I may try this with spicy turkey Italian sausage. Do you crush a few tomatoes to have a little sauce. Pasta is my favorite; I can ever have enough pasta dishes. My kids are older 20 and 24. But they are always looking for a meal. My son doesn't live with me anymore; but is still coming home for moms Cookin. He would enjoy this dish with chicken as well. Thanks for the tip.

If you use baby tomatoes they will burst and create a sauce sort of with their juices and white wine then you toss with pasta you can use any pasta but I like orichette which I likely just butchered the spelling of Lol!
