new kid on the block!

hey everyone!  i'm new to this and super excited.  the hearts racing and i'll tell you why!  i love to cook.  seeing beautifully prepared food, by talented individuals, makes me a little emotional lol.  i love public service and cooking provides the greatest form of "giving" for me.  food can change someone's day from bad to good.  its amazing.  i don't have a culinary degree but i'm determined to learn as i go and absorb as much info as possible.  i'm eager, passionate, smart, and love long walks on the beach lol jk  but thank you so much for having me, its an absolute pleasure to be possibly conversing about food with great chefs.

The excitement in your post is palpable, Alfrede! We're happy you've found us, too. Clearly, you understand the value of interacting with other chefs in the forums here at Chef Talk, and we know you'll take full advantage of it.

 

But please don't overlook the other treasures here: cooking articles, cookbook and equipment reviews, photo galleries, even the career boards. There are many years of conversations archived here as well, including some with high-profile chefs and other culinary professionals. The search tool will reveal these to you. (Be sure to check the date on the last post; the conversation may have ended some time ago, although it may seem fresh to you.)
