Hello!!! My name is Kim. I'm new here and I hope to get to know everyone. I've been in the food industry for about 17 years now. I've done just about everything from waiting tables, dishwashing, sous chef, executive chef, you name it I've done it. But there is so much more I want to do and learn and I hope to get alot of it from here! smile.gif

Hello Kim! Welcome to Chef Talk. We're delighted to have a person with such varied experience with us. I'm sure you'll get a lot from being here, but I know our community will benefit from your knowledge as well. I hope you're generous in sharing. biggrin.gif

 

We have many great features here besides the forums (which are nothing to sneeze at!): cooking articles, cookbook and equipment reviews, photo galleries, even a career board. We have a search tool to help you sift through over 13 years worth of posts and content here. However, IMHO it's our members who are the greatest treasure of Chef Talk. We hail from all over the globe, all ages, all levels of expertise and many areas of interest. You never know when you'll find a great recipe or unusual new ingredient, or fresh inspiration just when you need it.
