Congratulations on your advancement at work. I hope the community will be a good resource for you. Now that you've joined, you can also be a resource for others. I'm a home cook/baker myself (although I briefly baked rugelach for a deli) and have found tremendous encouragement and affirmation here from the members. While there are plenty of great forums, cooking articles, photo galleries, etc., it's the members who are the richest resource here.

 

Good luck with your new endeavors, and we hope you'll be an active member of Chef Talk.
