I wasn't much good with baking when I started here 13 years ago, but with help and inspiration from professional pastry people, chefs and other home bakers, I've made a lot of progress. At the moment I'm having to cook lot's of vegetarian food for dietary purposes for health reasons. So I'm always happy to find out more dishes that make vegetables so good that we don't miss the meat. I'm really good at making quiches of all kinds now but I'm looking for something else, to inspire me. I'll take a look round the cookbook, thank you very much. I'd like to learn to make bread, but to be quite honest, so far I've never managed to not produce something that weighs a ton, I don't know why. Even if I follow the instructions to a tee, it's never right. Or maybe I'm expecting too much? I'd like to make rolls from a normal flower if possible as I've seen it done.
