My name is Alli and I found this website/forums when googling why my darn cupcakes collapsed. What I learned was that pan size makes a difference. I used a cupcake pan and a cake recipe. Who knew? Well, some of you did, apparently. I read so much that I figured I should be a member.
I am an accomplished home chef and baker. My passion is that my family eats healthy and tasty meals made from whole foods and not processed items...with the occasional sweet treat thrown in. At lunch time my man's coworkers wait to start eating until they see what he has, it is important to me that he get a proper hot meal while "bringing home the bacon". His coworkers then unwrap their pitiful sandwiches or "nuke" their frozen meals.
I am most comfortable in the kitchen with multiple burners going, the oven on and flavors melding in the fridge. It is my happy place.
