Really stick top cake

Thread Starter

Hello guys,i found a good recipe for a cake , the taste and consistency was good but when it cooled down the top was soo sticky,i put it top side down and it sticked to the plate aswell.. i cooled it on a rack and was sure it was cooled.. but the top yet was sticky,mhm..

The recipe is this :

3 eggs

150 flour

150 sugar

100ml milk

50 ml vegetable oil

40~ gr cocoa powder

16 g baking powder

I baked it for like 45/50 min at 170°

The toothpick test was okey, dry and clean!

Exactly Rat.

@  Young : While slicing the top off you will not only alleviate that problem but your cakes will get leveled off , better for stacking.
