Hi Leah! congratulations on taking that next big step past your stove at home and into the big world of professional cooking. I never got past my home stove (except for a brief time in college looooong ago), so my hat's off to you for moving forward.

Besides the great people you can meet and learn from in the discussion forums, we have wonderful cooking articles, cookbook and equipment reviews, photo galleries and tons more. Good thing we have a good search tool because we've been here over 13 years. There's a lot to sift through.
You'll have your own ideas and questions to contribute, I'm sure, so we hope you'll come here often to share and learn. As a culinary student you'll find support in those special forums for you, and you can read all you like in the professional forums. However, until you complete your studies, we ask that you refrain from posting in the pros forums and post in the general forums. Everyone posts there, so your questions will be addressed there.
