I've been a chef for 9 years since I was 24. I love working in kitchens and have always tried to develop my skills. Up until now I have been solely based in Scotland but recently I have made the decision to go travelling in order to gain new knowledge and insight into food and food culture in different parts of the world. I've travelled fairly extensively in the past but never really with this specific goal in mind.
My main destinations will be America and Europe so I will no doubt be seeking some pointers from those with any pointers to offer.
Anyway, nice to be on here. Hopefully I'll get to know some of you bit more as time goes by.
