Hi everyone;

Thanks for the welcome, looking forward to hearing some professional advice, tips and tricks and hopefully being able to contribute my own experiences.

I own a gourmet pie shop and am the head pastrycook.

Hello!

I love the sound of a gourmet pie shop. Sadly you're a bit too far for me to visit and try some..

Welcome Cooperspies! I had to Google where Yarrawonga is, and one thing led to another. Before I knew it, I was "standing" in front of Coop's! You have to marvel at Google Street View.

We're delighted to welcome you here and hope you enjoy being part of this community. Besides the discussion forums we have cooking articles, equipment and cookbook reviews, an excellent photo gallery (full of pastries!) and more. The search tool will help you explore the entire site.

Goldi laments it's a long way to your door, but my husband and I aspire to visit Australia and New Zealand as part of our "trip of a lifetime" when he (finally) retires. Perhaps someday I may come into your shop and order a plate of your excellent product. What would you recommend to me? biggrin.gif Here in the U.S., pies usually mean sweets, but I'm certain yours are primarily savory, right? What's your tip for the best pastry? Cooks here swear by lard.

We're glad you found us and look forward to your contributions. Please make yourself at home, settle in and enjoy being part of the best food-lovers' and chefs' community on the web!

Best regards,

Mezzaluna
