I read to marinate chicken / chicken pieces 1 - 3 hours in refrigerator.  Can I marinate the chicken over night?

Well, I am trying a new marinade with Sriracha, chili paste, rice vinegar, brown sugar, etc.

I like hot and spicy, but I also would like for the chicken to be eatable.....can you help?  Do I need to go ahead and cook this chicken tonight?

not sure how to use the site yet, but I'm learning....

I am using Sriracha, chili paste, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and ginger.  I love hot and spicy, but I want the chicken to be eatable also.  Do I need to go ahead and cook the chicken tonight, or is it ok to marinate in frig over night?

AND, Thank you for the warm welcome, and quick reply....

hhhmmmm, well, with the acid (rice vinegar) you don't want to left it for too long.

the acid will make the meat mushy, say after I don't know, maybe 8 hours or less...

sounds like it'll be pretty good!
