Hello everyone!

Hi...I just found Chef Talk and am looking forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully learn a lot.  I've been cooking ever since I could reach the stove.  I live in the southern US and cooking is a tradition passed down from generation to generation.  I've taken a lot of what I learned early on and adapted it as I've grown to make it healthier.  Some things you just don't mess with however, like breads, desserts and real southern fried chicken.  I may not eat them anymore, but I still enjoy making them for family and friends.

I'm always looking for new recipes and the correct techniques to use to perfect what I do so any advice is welcome.

Aloha, Welcome to Chef Talk, so glad that you found all of us.
Isn’t this place amazing? I found CT a little more than two years ago as a Home Cook, and now have built up enough confidence in myself to strike out in a new food business.
Please take a moment to review the FAQ, Tutorials and Community Guidelines.
Do take a look at the Gallery photos of some of the members own works with sugar, they're fantastic, mouthwateringly delicious looking goodies for sure! The search bar at the top of the page is very useful in finding topics of interest; Chef Talk has been around for over 10 years so quite a few things have gone around the block several times.
I hope that you will visit as often as your busy schedule will allow and that you will look for CT on Face Book as well as Pinterest.
Happy Cooking!
