Is this meat good? Frozen meat, moved to 32 deg for 48 hours

Is this meat good?  It was frozen meat (ham and turkey), moved to a cooler that was 32 deg for 48 hours.  Is it safe to eat this?  Any or refreeze it?  If its safe to eat and shouldn't be refrozen how long do I have to eat it?

If it still has ice crystals refreeze it, otherwise cook within 2-3 days

I just have to ask here, are you speaking about 32 Fahrenheit or 32 Celsius?

 

At 32 F it is below the danger zone, so the meat should be okay to cook and serve. Like above, it won't hurt the meat to refreeze it as long as there are ice crystals in the meat. I frown upon it because I find the texture of the meat is compromised.

The center of the meat was still frozen but the edges were thawed with no ice crystals.

Let texture suffer or lose a couple hundred dollars worth of meat... texture will be just fine by me lol.gif
