a cobbler 911

I have 4 nice peaches (about 3 cups) and 2-3 cups of sweet and juicy cherries (made the hubs pit them, lol) .

Need to make a cobbler for a family "pop up"  this pm.

Would these 2 fruits play well together in a cobbler ?

Not a short crust cobbler, one of those "magic" stir together, pour the batter in the bottom of pan and layer fruit on top and as it bakes the fruit sinks to the bottom type.

Peaches and cherries together are a very tasty combination.

Yes they do!

I put the cherries on one end and the peaches on the other and let them mingle in the middle.

I had enjoyed cherries mixed with many different fruits but never peaches.

Awesome cobbler FULL of fruit and the crust part was sweet and buttery and crispy on the edges.

The peaches were a purchase from Costco last week and they were just perfect.

We had eaten as many as we could (2 cases) out of hand and in salads but still had those last 4 to finish off.
