Hi from Baltimore, MD

This looks like a really great forum and I am looking forward to reading posts from everyone. I am a Baking/Pastry graduate of Johnson and Wales U (Providence) back when the program was still fairly new :-) I enjoy working with pastries, but I love food/cooking history. I have been collecting old cookbooks/recipes from the 18th and 19th centuries and experimenting with making my own yeast for bread.

Aloha, welcome to Chef Talk.

With over 50,000 members I think that you’ll be busy chatting, sharing and exchanging ideas with people from around the World.

Now, don’t forget about us Home Cooks, we have plenty on the table every night!

The Articles, Reviews and the Galleries are pretty fab; the Search Bar at the top of the page can show you topics that have been discussed previously.  Maybe you could visit the Culinary Students forums and share some of your wisdom.

Once you’ve reviewed the Community Guidelines, Tutorials and the FAQ and you have questions in regards to the website, feel free to post those in the Feedback & Suggestions forum, everyone has great respect for one another.
