Winter Season employment

Thread Starter
So my husband and I are looking for a new location when the summer season ends. We would very much like to stay working as seasonal chefs and are in need of something for the upcoming winter season! We kind of like the island life but would very much like to see the mountains too!! Any ideas of places to check out?

Any of the ski states like colorado, utah, idaho, and ny, new england areas. Canada has lots of ski resorts. Mountains, depnding on the place, great food and you may get free skiing. I know several people who followed the seasons, they enjojed it for several years before putting down roots. Think about Thailand, there are small restaurant/bars eveywhere in the turist areas, english is common, great weather and senery and the cost of living is cheap. Last place i saw for sale there was less than $20k and had a small apt with it. Just some thoughts
