I find myself posting (unknowingly) in threads years old. I suggests CT close threads to new post on old threads like most other forums do.

Why? What's wrong with bringing up an old thread? If you are concerned about posting in an old thread, read the date before you post. Or if you are searching pages deep into a thread, most likely it's not current.

Bump

The only people here who make a stink about bumping an old thread are newbs.

Bump without prejudice.

Add to the old conversation, it's still relevant.

I dont understand why , their are so many useful threads beneficial to other newcomers.

This may be a forum , but it has a search engine , as in people actually search old threads for information and guidance.

Just check the date of the last post before hand .... not like it would be too hard :D
