Hey! I'm from Canada, a clotted cream-less country. I'm now in England and I've fallen in live with clotted cream. It's ridiculous. I was wondering if there's a way to make it not in the oven? What do you find works best?
I too would be really interested to get some knowledge on this. Its such a unique ingredient! I found this website which explains a non-oven method, but to be honest my instincts are telling me it would be even close to the real deal!
The wiki page says that scalding or steaming the cream is usually how it's done. I guess I'll just have to try it out a bunch of times I'm okay with that
