Sweet And Sour Sauce

Hi, ive been looking for a good sweet and sour sauce and how to make it, I heard, honey, soy sauce white vinegar, suger were the main ingredients Chinese use, but im not sure, whats a good recipe for this?

Bring to boil sugar vinegar,water  add catsup for color add some juice from sweet picles. pineapple juice. Thicken with cornstarch,  Garnish  green pepper, pine chunks 1/2 cherry tomato. I worked with 3 chinese gents for 10 years ,this is way they did it .  Do not overboil or the acid will thin it out to much.
