my names jason. im a line cook/short order cook in northern illinois. I work at a bar and grill now. found this forum in search of knife advice and the desire to hear from my peers

Aloha, Welcome to Chef Talk, so glad that you found all of us Jason.

I'm sure that you've already discovered that we are an eclectic gathering of folk.

You'll find everyone here from can't boil water to CCI; located possibly in Paris or Hong Kong.

Jump in were ever you find interest (;)other than knives that is), you may want to utilize the search bar at the top of the page as CT has been around for more than 10 years.  Oh, and check out on Face Book and Pinterest too, LOVE the pins!

Whatever you choose I hope that you will visit often and share in all things food, and welcome once again.

Hey Jason, thanks for the rep! I have some pretty good knife info for ya, Hard to find chef knife victorinox only about 35 bucks and best I ever had and you wont cry when it hits the floor in the kitchen ( seen some chefs cry like babies because they brought their expensive one to work and it fell lol ) have a bunch of other knives you will like if you need more than that one, let me know
