I am an administrative specialist by trade- I work with a church (City of Faith Church) who ministers to the pre-Christians through food. One of our major initiatives is offering a free meal to the community out of our shared-use commercial kitchen (City Buffet) Monday through Friday 11-1pm.  I am not trained in the food industry- but I am around chefs, cooks and entrepreneurs all day- which I have learned a great deal from. I appreciate cooks and I appreciate food! 

I am happy to be here and be a part of a culinary community.

Aloha, welcome to Chef Talk Carol.  

This is a fantastic, vibrant, eclectic community comprised of everything, INCLUDING the kitchen sink!

Isn’t that just the way food has its power over all us?  

Check the place out and if you have a question in regards to the site self, you can post those in the Feedback & Suggestion forum.  I might suggest the search bar at the top of the page since CT had been around for more than 10 years, many a topic has gone around the moon a few times.

Please take a look at the general forums, many a Home Cook brings just as much to the table as in any Five Star restaurant.
