New in Michigan

Hello Everyone!

My family just opened our first restaurant in Michigan specializing in Mexican food. I have been drafted into the Manager/ Accountant/dishwasher position. It has been fun, exciting, overwhelming and scary all together. I have faith we will be successful and I am sure I will be able to learn a great deal from all of you pros. I hope to learn much and in turn be able to help.

Aloha, Welcome to Chef Talk Linda.

So glad you found all of us.  This a vibrant and diverse community comprised of folks of varying skill levels.  Don’t miss the Chef’s Garden forum; there is always something interesting growing there.  I hope that you will post in the general forums as well as in the Professional, Home Cooks such as myself can only read in the Pro section.  Please take a moment to review the FAQ and Community Guidelines.  Should you have questions in regards to the site, feel free to post those in the Feedback & Suggestion forum.  I think that you’ll find that everyone here is very helpful and respectful.

I hope to see some of your work in the Galleries soon.
