Home cook just joined

Hello community

Just joined up because I'm a home cook and recently started gearing up for a more diverse repertoire. My limited cooking choices began to bore me.

I've always loved the kitchen and take pride in what I prepare. Those who eat my food know the immense amount of love I put into it.

I can't think of much else to say other than my joining this site comes with hope that I will learn alot from y'all. Hopefully I can return the favor.

I haven't taken any classes but I do utilize youtube quite a bit. I wish it was around 15 years ago when I set my first kitchen up.

I look forward to making new friends here.

We invite you to take a tour of the site and see all the great features here. The FAQ section will explain how the site itself works. In the Cooking Articles you can read on a wide range of topics contributed by our members. Don't miss the photo galleries, cooking equipment and cookbook reviews and all the other goodies you'll discover! If you have any questions about the site, please let a moderator or admin know.

Is there a particular cuisine or cooking method you especially like? Are there ingredients that you can't resist using when they're in season? We hope you'll share your love of food and cooking with us here at Chef Talk.

Welcome!

Just want to say hello to everyone.  I hope to gain knowledge on cooking foods properly and share my knowledge as well.  I really am a supertaster and sometimes its a curse because if it is not made correctly, I will not enjoy it.  I also like to copy fast food recipes like Taco Bell for example.  The TB you get today is not the same as it was in the 80's and into the 90's.  YUM brands has taken the quality downhill since they purchased it.  If you want to know in what way?  Just ask....  Again glad to be here and appreciate your welcome  : )
