I accidentally simmered my chili con carne for 6 hours

Will it be fine? It consists of just meat, beans, onion, tomato, spices.

Think the beans may be a bit over done, lol, the mouth feel off but sure the flavor will be fine. Did you taste it?

Also just curious, how does one "accidentally simmer" anything that long?

Well... today, while cooking, i accidentally drunk a bottle of champagne. Accidents occur.

If the chili is not burnt, could be OK.

Should be okay, beans(they do not belong in the chili, serve on the side) will be mushy. Meat will be really tender.
