I am an American living in Hong Kong, and in the past year I've started to really enjoy baking! I used to be afraid of doing anything in the kitchen - once I somehow decided it was okay to put a frozen pizza in the oven with part of the box still underneath it. With that as a formative kitchen memory I've stayed away.
But a friend turned me on to America's Test Kitchen, and by following some of their cookie recipes I've developed a "hunger" for learning more! I'm looking forward to using this community to grow. (But hopefully not too much growth in my waistline.) As you can see I love bad jokes.
