I stumbled on this site this morning while looking for a place to buy mirin. I liked what I saw and decided to join since I'm always looking for ways to improve my cooking skills. I'm an advanced home cook and have been doing almost all the cooking for years which my wife doesn't complain about.

I make almost everything from scratch because the taste is so much better than anything that is packaged. I look forward to reading here...
