Chef Judy Rodgers died today from cancer. 2 great chefs in such a short amount of time. If you guys don't own her Zuni Cafe Cookbook, do yourself a favor and go get it. One of the best cookbooks I have ever read. She was one of the first (if not THE) proponents of pre-salting your meat, esp. bigger meats like roast chicken and large steaks.
Anyways, she was a great chef.
