Fudge To much Evaporated Milk

Thread Starter

I was making fudge and ended up  putting 24 oz. of Evaporated Milk in and it called for 2 5 oz., cans of Evaporated Milk.

I put in 1 12 oz. Kraft marshmallow Crème,  6 cups of sugar, 11/2 cups of butter, 10 oz. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Melts, 2 cups walnut's, 2 tsp. vanilla.

My question is how or what can I do to straighten this mistake out?

I hate to throw it all out.

I put them in the freezer for now, it was runny and did not know what to do with the 3 pans of fudge for now.

So you put in approx 10 times the amt of milk so you need to put in 10 times the amount of each of your other ingredients, wouldn't you? The technical term for this is, are you ready? OH FUDGE!

Fantasy Fudge recipe can be found on the marshmallow fluff container as well as countless church and garden club cookbooks.

I feel your pain...the first time I made it I also misread the milk amt.

When I realized the mistake I just made another batch and married the two.

Looked fine and tasted better!
