Pimpkin Seasoning

hello again,


Can anyone give me some advise?  When I bake a cake or pumpkin cookies or even pumpkin biscotti. I can not seem to bring out or enhance the true pumpkin flavor. Is there an option? I have increased the pumpkin spice, but after it's baked, it's so blain...


Could there be another flavor, or spice or liquor to add in?? :confused: help!!

What spices are you using?  I use a tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, 1/2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp. all spice and a pinch of cloves.  Some times I put in a splash of Brandy.

Yup, used the all above.  All I can say is I must be a picky baker.  But I strive for perfection in the quality of taste!!

I use and have never been disappointed with this brand (always a clean taste without a chemical afterburn)

Never used the pumpkin flavor but always use a drop or two of the banana in my breads/cakes.
