Need help with ideas for using roasted chestnuts looking for both sweet and savory uses if possible

I have been looking online but I haven't been able to really find much other than chestnut stuffing which I have never had, and to me roasted chestnuts by themselves aren't very appetizing so if anyone can help with some ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

Any dishes will be prepared at home not in a restaurant so I will be slightly limited as to what I will be able to do.

I LOVE chestnuts, grew up with them. We would just go and pick them in the forest. Roast them in the oven, eat them just like that, it's a memory that has permeated my childhood. Later in life, as a student, I would walk around town, and stop at the corner chestnut cart, where the chestnut guy would make a paper cone out of old newspapers, and fill the cone with roasted chestnut. A truly seasonal treat (only for Xmas).

Chestnut stuffing is delicious.

Roasted chestnuts on their own are delicious.

If you don't like either, what kind of dish are you looking for? You can boil chestnuts in chicken stock if you'd like, and serve them as a side dish for example to a roasted fowl. You can puree them and make a puree that will taste incredibly close to a puree you'd make with the purple fleshed sweet potatoes. You can make soup.

OR if you really are patient, you can make one my favorite treat of all times (still to this day): Marrons glacés: candied chestnuts (takes several days to prepare):

There's tons of recipes online for chestnut soup.

I love a Chinese stew/braise dish, chestnut chicken. It's chicken pieces on the bone, cooked with chestnut pieces, in a soy based sauce. The chestnut breaks down a little and creates a slightly thickened sauce.

We often chop up roasted chestnuts and add them to sauteed Brussels sprouts or string beans with caramelized onion. They offer a nice sweetness as well as an interesting texture.
