I gave myself Ottolenghi's Jerusalem Cookbook and I am finding it extremely inspiring. I'm not a lover of cookbooks that are mainly food porn. This one is beautiful and the food not only sounds delicious but is also not terribly complicated. I'm thoroughly enjoying reading it and daydreaming about what to make out of it.

I got some Kona whole bean coffee and a new coffee mill.  I used my old one for spices once and ever since when I grind coffee it tastes like curry - LOL.

Many might not see this as a foodie gift, but I received 3 stainless steel metro racks to organize my hoard of cooking and backing equipment. They are quite lovely, and 2 of the 3 are on casters for easy mobility. I'm so pleased that my supplies aren't in piles any longer!
