The Best Brownies!

Hi all!!

I know I've been MIA for a while but I'd really like to get back into the swing of things because as of the 20th of January I will be a chef in training. YAY!! I'm very excited but also extremely nervous... I hope I'll do well and be able to cope with everything. Any advice or tips will be most welcome!

So i decided to start with sharing my Brownie recipe. It works excellently! The result of all my Brownie makings is gorgeously chewy and moist on the inside and a deliciously crisp outside. Enjoy!!!

Brownies
4 eggs

2 cups sugar

1½ cups flour

1 Tsp salt

2 Tsp vanilla essence

6 Tbs cocoa

1 cup oil

Preheat your oven to 180°C.  In your mixer add the dry ingredients.  Mix until completely combined.  Add the eggs, vanilla and oil.  Mix well until fully incorporated. Spread the batter in a greased 9x12 inch pan.  Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean or with just a few crumbs.

TIP: Bake brownies for 20mins if you want them chewy or longer for less chewiness. Make sure they’re cooked through though.

TIP: Add fudge just before baking to make fudgy brownies. YUM!

It seems quite good. Is this your own recipe?

Well it's one that's been used in my family for years. Works really well though! Give it a try and let me know how it goes. :)

The best brownies I've ever eaten are made with Guinness.

Sorry, I didn't make the brownies myself.  My friend did so I don't have the recipe.  There are lots of recipes online though, it's a typical way to make brownies.
