Welcome to Chef Talk Juana! You've come to the right place to connect with others who are starting out and with experienced people in the field, whether they're into pastry or the "hot" side of the kitchen. There are also a lot of us home cooks here too, from all over the world. With the large number of people here, with such broad areas of expertise, you're sure to gain a lot of good information.

We invite you to take some time to explore the site and have a look at the cooking articles, photo galleries, cookbook and equipment reviews, culinary school resources and more. The discussion forums are just the tip of the iceberg! We've been here for a long time, so you can find many years' worth of stuff here to read through. The search tool will help you find exactly what you're looking for. Since you're not yet a professional chef, please be aware that the Professional Forums are "read only". That is, you're free to read all you like there, but please post only in the General forums. Your questions will be answered there, as everyone posts in the General Forums.

Let a moderator know if you have questions. You can also check the FAQ page if you like: http://www.cheftalk.com/a/faq

Welcome! Good luck in your future pursuits.
