Hi from Ohio!

Just thought I'd say hi and introduce myself. I'm Meyah, i'm currently still enrolled in high school, but i've always had a passion for cooking/baking as long as I can remember. So, i joined this site to just converse with other people like me and to get help on choosing my culinary path :)

Hi Meyah! We're glad you found us. You'll find a wealth of information and wonderful connections here to enrich your culinary knowledge and to inspire your quest. 

 

Besides the discussion forums we have excellent cooking articles (there's quite an education in those!), reviews of cookbooks and equipment, a careers tab at the top of the page (which can give you an idea of what employers look for so you can see how to prepare yourself), information on culinary schools, a photo gallery, etc. Please take time to explore it all. 

 

Those of us (myself included) who aren't professional chefs are welcome to read all the forums, but we have to leave the professionals' forums to them for posting. We're free to post in all the general forums; everyone posts there, so choose the best one for your question or comment and post there.
