Absolutely delicious - I recommend everyone try this at least once! :)
2.5 tbsp. anise seed
1 c. water
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2/3 of a sm. pineapple
2/3 of a sm. honeydew melon
1/2 of a sm. cantaloupe
1/2 c. seedless green grapes
1/2 of a lime
- Put Anise Seed in middle of 7” inch square of many layers of Cheesecloth (PM for source). Tie edges together with string.
- In Saucepan, combine Anise Seed, Bag, Water, Sugar, Lemond Juice. Boil until sugar dissolves. Then Cook, medium heat for approximately five minutes. Allow to cool.
-Prepare Pineapple, Honeydew, Cantaloupe. Add the syrup and marinate overnight.
