I am happy to have found you all. I started in the food industry right out of high school, first as a cook, then into baking first as a bakers helper, then took my bakers training at (what was then) Vancouver Vocational Institute. Then my real training began in small bakeries and later supermarket bakeries. I have been baking now for 40 years. My experience covers all aspects of commercial baking from bread mixer to cake and pastry decorator. I have always loved baking and love learning new techniques and different ways of producing baked goods. (Zuckerbaker was the nickname given to me by one of my mentors early in my career) I look forward to exchanging ideas with like minded folks on this site.
