I'm no romantic, so I'm baffled at any appeal of such a Valentine's Day gift.
Any ideas as to what, actually, to do with such a thing?
I'm a woman.
And really, you don't know what to get her?
Do you love her? How long have you known her? What are her passions / hobbies??? Something she would LOVE???
Maybe take her out for fine dining?
Or go picknicking somewhere no matter what the weather, with a nice long walk?
No matter what your finances are, there are LOTS of ways to make her feel special and say "I love you".
Come on! Valentine is about LOVE and it's not that hard to come up with something.
Don't buy her any of the commercial crap!! Like that teddybear. Has nothing to do with valentine at all.
If a guy was out with you at a carnival and won you the big bear, wouldn't you be thrilled?
Tell the truth now, even if it means going back to adolescence (or childhood).
Having posted that, it's not the same thing to bring one home from a store.
Best, as you said, to be thoughtful and kind- though if I might add a bit, my taste tends to lean toward things she'd love, but wouldn't (for whatever reason) expect or do or purchase for herself.
