Thinking of getting a sujihiki

Looking for an excuse for another knife.
I have an 8 inch Lion Sabatier slicer but find it a little short.
I'm thinking of a 300mm sugihiki.
Must admit I quite like the Masakage Yuki and I don't have a white steel knife.
However, CKTG currently have a sale on the Kajihara Damascus at $209.95 - seems a good deal for blue steel.
Does anyone have any experience with either of these ?
I noticed that BDL likes the Konosuke HD2, going by the review on CKTG, and that's got me thinking about that one.
I suspect the answer is buy the one you want to, I'm mainly fishing for any bad experiences - or is the HD2 a much better knife ?
I'm in no great rush to buy (I'm actually under direct orders not to buy another knife having bout 7 jap knives over the last 9 months smile.gif
I would prefer to buy from Japan purely due to postage to Australia, but I can't find anything I like from the usual outlets there (Mainly JCK I guess). I have bought from CKTG previously.
Amy feedback would be appreciated.
Cheers
Kev

If that Lion Sabatier is a stainless you don't need any excuse.

It is indeed.

I'm probably leaning towards the Konosuke at the moment.

There's a place here in Sydney which has 270mm HD2s or maybe get a 300mm HD or HD2 from CKTG, unless the Sydney place can order in a 300mm.
