Newbie hello

Hello! My name is Jordan and I am a Junior at Northern Illinois University studying Hospitality Administration. I love baking and have been baking with my family ever since I was little, so naturally I hope to become a baking/pastry chef and pursue my dreams. I hope to attend a basking/pastry program after I get my Bachelor's and work in a kitchen making good smelling breads, pastries, and confectioneries. I also hope to learn a lot from this site and from everyone here. :)

This is a great Community, so many different culinary skill levels from all around the Globe.

Feel free to join the conversation or start one in the relevant thread.

Don’t pass over the Articles, Reviews and Gallery; there are some fantastic photos of folks work and fun stuff too.  Try the Search bar at the top of the page when looking for an interest; a lot of topics have gone around the block a few times already.  Also, if you have questions in regards to Chef Talk’s website once you’ve read the Tutorials, FAQ and Community Guidelines, you can post those in the Feedback & Suggestion forum.

Oh and btw, not sure if you saw cheftalk.com on Face Book, Pinterest as well as Twitter, very cool!
