Opening a restaurant and have to buy a new 6 burner range. Don't want to break the bank so I'm looking at an American Range Model AR-6. Does anyone have any reviews on this mode or recommend a model. Thanks

Boy JM it would seem as though you had a simple thermostat problem, can't imagine what else it might be other than an igniter linked to the tstat. Perhaps American has been having trouble with their latest generation control boards. In which case you could stay away from American for a while. Times like this you could wish to be back in the days of thermal-bulb mechanical systems. Boar d Laze thought highly of the American line, but then again he hasn't been in the business for some years.
