Hello everyone!

Im a 40 yr old chef from Dominican Republic. I currently own a corporate catering business and im the executive chef at 2 restaurants, one is a quick service inside a college campus and the other is a full service restaurant. Both these restaurants are owned by the same person.

Due to reasons here in Dominican Republic, which i dont want to bore you all with, but mainly economic/social and overall quality of life, my wife and I are looking at the option of immigrating to Canada. Here we make decent money, so this is not our main reason to decide to leave the country.

Anyways, just wanted to ask you all your thoughts on the canadian situation regarding finding a decent job, finding a good job and any advice you might consider giving that might help when we arrive there.

Thanks and keep cooking!
