Hello from Texas

Good evening! My name is Marsha (aka Kylesgranny). I live in northeast Texas with my hubby and 2 very spoiled kitties.  I have 2 grown children, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

 

I absolutely love to cook! Most of my experience is at home. I worked for several years as a cook in an assisted living facility. While there, I would get into alot of trouble since I would change the menus to make them more interesting to the residents. They sure did like it, but my boss didn't. Now that hubby and I are retired, I can cook to my hearts content. That is, when my health allows it. I have MS, so I have days when standing in the kitchen isn't feasible. I do make up for it when I can!

 

Thank you all for allowing me to join. I'm always looking to learn new things and find new recipes. See you all on the boards!

Aloha, Welcome to Chef Talk Marsha.

WOW!  That's some brood you've got there, they all must keep you busy.

This is a great Community, so many different culinary skill levels from all around the Globe. 

Feel free to join the conversation or start one in the relevant thread. About that though, us home cooks are asked to read only in the Professional Food Service forums. 

Don’t pass over the Articles, Reviews and Gallery; there are some fantastic photos of folks work and fun stuff too.  Try the Search bar at the top of the page when looking for an interest; a lot of topics have gone around the block a few times already. 

Also, if you have questions in regards to Chef Talk’s website once you’ve read the Tutorials, FAQ and Community Guidelines, post those in the Feedback & Suggestion forum. 

Whatever you do, have a good time doing it and visit often.  Oh btw, did you see Cheftalk.com on Fcae Book, Pintereset and Twitter?  More like minded folks there!
